Club Wyndham

Points currency across 230+ resorts, plus Club Wyndham Access.

The Overview

Club Wyndham is the largest U.S. points-based timeshare, with points acting as vacation currency across 230+ resorts by season, suite size, and location. Points deposit on your Use Year (Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct) and expire within 12 months unless pooled. You book your home resort up to 13 months out and other resorts up to 10 months out. Club Wyndham Access (formerly Club Pass) adds WorldMark and other Wyndham brands on a 9-month window, and points convert to Wyndham Rewards (1,000 pts = 400 Rewards).

What we liked

  • 230+ resorts; low barrier to entry and flexible points
  • Credit Pool rollover ($79 fee) and RCI external exchange
  • Club Wyndham Access adds WorldMark + other Wyndham brands

Watch out for

  • More complaints about high-pressure upselling than premium brands
  • Points expire within the Use Year unless pooled; notable dues increases
  • Weak resale value

The Bottom Line

Value in volume, but set firm boundaries at the sales table — and never buy at full developer price.
