Westgate operates a points-allocation timeshare: owners buy a set number of points to book Westgate properties, with some purchasing 'lock-off' weeks that can be split or traded for annual usage. Points can be exchanged for non-Westgate resorts through affiliated networks like RCI, and annual maintenance fees can sometimes be applied as travel credits. Nice resorts, read the contract closely
